15.Dec.2013

Currently the road to Park Eshkol is still closed due to heavy rain fall the last weekend. We are looking for sunny days this week so soon the road will be opened. If you approach the park with any vehicle please check WAZE for updates.
EDIT: Bat-Sheva Shachny בת-שבע שכני took the picture, she's one of the park workers who keep the park running.
Thanks you!

EDIT2: Road 241 is now open.

The Baskets are being placed!

10.Dec.2013

Things are moving on in Eshkol Park. The 18 Sleeves for the baskets were placed right before the upcoming storm. Now the concrete will have its proper time to harden. Next week Yuval, volunteers and park employees will start to place the first baskets. This is truly an exciting time, soon disc golf players in Israel and visitors from abroad will be able to play the first round on this amazing course. Again thanks to all the people who are helping to make this project come true, a special thanks to all donors whom will be added to a special section on the site.

The Baskets are here!

30 Nov. 2013

It's official, the baskets have arrived in Park Eshkol and were being assembled by members of the Israeli Disc Golf Association with the help of friends, family members and other  disc golf enthusiasts. We are looking forward to see more action in the coming weeks when the baskets are being put in their final positions. Soon visitors of the Eshkol Park are able to play Disc Golf on the first permanent course in the middle east.
